In the autumn of 1987, Signore Valerio Romano, a young Milanese artisan with ink-stained fingers and a profound reverence for Italian leatherwork, opened a small atelier on a cobbled side street near the Duomo. What began as a workshop producing bespoke footwear for a select clientele of Milanese aristocracy would, over the following decades, evolve into one of Europe's most respected luxury footwear houses.

Every pair that leaves our atelier is the culmination of over 100 individual steps performed by master artisans who have spent decades perfecting their craft. We source our leathers exclusively from the finest tanneries in Tuscany and Córdoba, selecting only the top grade of hides that meet our exacting standards of texture, durability, and aesthetic refinement.
Today, under the creative direction of Sofia Marchetti, the house continues to honour its founding philosophy while embracing the subtle evolution of contemporary luxury. Each new collection is a dialogue between the storied past and an elegant future.
